• DeforestACTION is a global movement of
youth and schools taking action to stop
deforestation.
• Students joined this growing global

20. DeforestAction
• I was very excited to take part in DeforestAction
– I was in rainforests in Malaysia (Borneo) and
Indonesia. I have very interesting pictures about
my visit to rainforests.
• I decided to involve young students, age 10-11.
My presentation had a great success in this
class, a lot of questions from students. I have
used Microsoft materials also. Students made
drawings, the main topic was – saving forests.
An exhibition of student’s drawings was
organized. Results were published in Facebook,
where our school has a web-page.

• Students from 10th grade were involved
too in this practice. They have made
posters about Earth Day, saving
rainforests and environment.

• This action is great. It gives to students
opportunity to change the world, to
increase social responsibility.
