Design Thinking Key Characteristics: • The three core characteristics of design thinking are: Empathy, Expansive thinking & Experimentation Design thinking is a problem-solving process that prioritizes the needs of the consumer. It involves observing how people interact with their environments, and using an iterative, hands-on approach to create innovative solutions. Lean Startup Cycle Key Characteristics: • High Risk distinguishes a start-up from any other type of business. • Start-up’s minimize risk through a Minimum Viable Product (MVP), rigorous experimentation & gathering feedback • The goal of Build-Measure-Learn is not to build a final product to ship or to develop a beta version of a product but to maximize learning through incremental and iterative development Our client problem / opportunity: • Build minimal working solutions to gather feedback from the on the ground service agents • Ability to scrap / pivot a solution or approach and start again The lean start-up methodology is a method of managing and building a business or start-up by experimenting, testing, and iterating while developing products based on findings from your tests and feedback.
