This document provides instructions for multi-family property owners in Montgomery County, Maryland on how to file their annual recycling and waste reduction report online. It outlines the required information to include in the report such as materials collected for recycling and disposal, education efforts, and waste reduction activities. It also describes common recyclable and voluntary materials that can be reported. Step-by-step instructions are given on accessing the online reporting system, entering data on materials collected and haulers/contractors used, and submitting the completed report.

4 Voluntary Recyclable Materials 4 Multi-family properties may also report on additional recycling efforts, such as: Carpet and carpet padding Compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs and tubes Electronic items (computers, televisions, radios, etc.) Batteries Textiles Toner, printer, and fax cartridges Plastic wrap and bags Food scraps

Scrap Metal 18 Contact scrap metal recycling hauler/collector to request the amount of pounds of scrap metal recycled in 2020. If unknown, list the items and quantities collected.
Christmas Trees Selects pounds if total weight of trees is known, or items to report number of trees collected
Yard Trim (grass, leaves, brush, garden Trimmings) May report pounds collected or cubic yards of material collected
Grasscycling 21 Reporting acreage or square footage of grassy area on the Report Details tab allows us to calculate total grasscycling pounds for you.
Trash 22 Trash Tab: Enter your trash information in the same manner as your recycling data. Click the “Add” button when you are done.
Waste Reduction Information 23 Follow the tabs across the top to complete the annual report Green check marks indicate a section has been completed You can upload existing plans or flyers instead of re-typing your accomplishments ACME Condos
