COMPANY
Reason for recruitment: Targeted growth in both Industrial and Enterprise Solutions. Product line managers are
being sought for each of these business areas. These are landing roles for future general
managers due to expected growth and business demands. Candidates would be expected
to have GM potential and will have already taken steps to have begun that journey.
Products: Enterprise Solutions: copper and fiber connectivity, data center rack, cabinet, power & cooling
solutions, audio and video systems. Also, structured cabling systems, extended LAN, data
centre facilities systems, access control, building systems automation and camera mounted
fiber systems. Intelligent wired and wireless products that include industrial Ethernet switches
and related equipment, fiber optic interfaces and converters used to bridge fieldbus networks.
Industrial Solutions: Industrial ethernet cable, cord sets & accessories, accessories, data bus
cable, multi-conductor cable, VFD cable, flex cable, fibre optic cable, instrumentation
cable, armoured cable, portable cordage.
ROLE CONTEXT
Culture: A company with a strong, numbers driven commercial culture. A highly acquisitive,
fast changing business that is rapidly demonstrating ‘best practice’ behaviours within its
functions. Communication between employees is to-the-point and open. Leaders are

• A college degree in engineering. Minors or modules taken in business are valued.

• Providing competitive analysis and cross-referencing support
• Analysis and reporting of revenue, volume, margin, market share
• Leading product information management, implementation & ongoing data management
• Developing and delivering internal & external product training
• Co-ordinating with marketing teams to support product launches and product related marketing activity
• Assisting sales process efforts
• Interacting with R&D, Sales, Marketing, IT, Operations or directly with customers
• Creating and maintaining sales support tools
• This is a development role, and as such, this person will be will be expected to progress quickly and take on ‘stretch
tasks’
