How it Works: Stores
Stores install AT&T Showroom technology and connect devices to central unit
• Sensors embedded in LED lights – source power from the socket
Sensors detect customers with AT&T Showroom
• Sends out alerts to the customer, personalizing the shopping experience
• AT&T M2X and Flow technology create machine-to-machine
communication links between customer device and the sensors
• M2X provides data gathering software: links device to sensor
• Flow provides processing software: selects appropriate data for
customer

How it Works: Customers
AT&T customers have a preloaded AT&T
Showroom app
• All other mobile customers download
from App Store or Play Store
Customer enters shopping preferences and
common stores
• Preferred stores and products send alerts
to customer
Valuable customers receive special discounts
and deals from store
