GENDER: Predominantly
female.
I have chose this gender
because they can relate to
the two main females
more. Typically, females
tend to enjoy our chosen
Genre more.
AGE: 15-23.
Our characters will be in
this age range, so the target
audience can relate to them
more easily. The themes
could also be more relatable
to a teenage audience.
INTERESTS:
Cinema, social networking,
social media, books and
socialising.
These are common
interests among young
people, which is the age I
will be targeting.
MEDIA PREFERENCES:
YouTube, Netflix, TV,
Cinema and Social
networking.
My target audience, due to
their age, will most likely be
involved in these types of
media.
LIKES: Socialising, cinema, social
media, books, romance, cliché
storylines and movies.
I chose these likes because this is
what my film would revolve around
and it also includes the common
likes of my targeted age.
Dislikes: Gore, violence and jump
scares.
Many males around my targeted
age group, tend to dislike and avoid
films with these features.
PRODUCT PREFERENCES:
Smart phone, kindle,
tablet, laptop or computer.
Due to their age, gender
and possible interests, my
target audience will most
likely use these products.
LIFESTYLE:
Predominantly a student,
with the possibility of a part
time job at minimum age.
Some may not be a student,
but have a full time job
instead.
This is due to the age range
of my target audience.
OTHER FILMS THEY MAY
LIKE:
• If I Stay
• The Fault In Our Stars
• Now Is Good
These films have similar
themes and genres to our
initial ideas.
GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION:
Mainly the UK, but also
some other parts of Europe.
My film will be produced by
an English company and will
be both set and made in
England.
SOCIO ECONOMIC GROUP:
C2
This is based on their parents income,
and this would usually be average
earnings.
PYSCHOGRAPHIC GROUP:
Explorer.
My target audience is more likely to
try new forms of media as they are
more open minded and would like to
see if a new film appeals to them.
