was supposed to be Madhubala. The shooting began with her in 1959, but
her heart ailment curtailed her career and she left the film incomplete. Her
portions were entirely reshot with Waheeda Rehman replacing her. Last
year, this movie shot back into the limelight, for no filmy reason, largely due
to a still from one of their songs.

early 20th century. The song sensationalizes Rasputin as a mystical healer,

voluntarily and he had the option of appealing to a review board which he
didn’t do.

provided you are a viewer magnanimous enough to overlook the tacky
production values.
