Camping involves staying overnight in a protective shelter out in nature as a way to get away from urban life. Campers use tents, caravans, or shelters made of wood and leaves as temporary shelter. There are two main types of camping: survival camping, where campers rely only on resources found in nature; and recreational camping, where campers bring equipment like electricity and heat to camp more comfortably. Proper preparation before and during a camping trip is important, including finding a suitable campsite, making supply lists, practicing skills, and being aware of potential dangers from wildlife or fire. Leaving no trace after camping is recommended.

Before Camping 1. Look for suitable campsite. 2. Make a checklist of what to bring. 3. Practice creating fire and pitching tent 4. Be ready for the unexpected.
During the Camping Trip 1. Stay away from wild animals and be wary of poisonous plants. 2. Be careful with fire. 3. Adapt and extend yourself. 4. Enjoy the experience.
After the Camping Trip 1. Make an inventory. 2. Leave nothing but footprints. 3. Revisit your list.
