CBL Designs presented a training module to Long John Silver's on shortening maintenance. The module used computer-based branching and interactive media like videos and games to teach employees how to properly filter and maintain shortening in fryers. User testing found the module effectively taught the key steps and criteria while participants suggested minor navigation improvements. CBL Designs incorporated feedback and learned lessons on writing for the intended audience.
