8. Medical Equipment Management Program
Key Program Components
• Develop local relationships and partnerships (steps one and two)
• Develop import/customs plan
• Develop distribution plan from port to partner
• Standardize and centralize equipment donations
• Target devices with the most impact on patient care given resource and environmental constraints

• Provide clinical staff training
• Scheduled bio-medical repair training and preventative maintenance to local market
• Ensure there are in- country spare parts, accessories, and tech support to increase equipment up-
