Great Wall of China
Extending to more than 6,000 kilometers from the mountains of Korea to the Gobi Desert, the Great Wall of
China is the biggest construction attributed to human hands, and the single structure that was built by men
that is apparently noticeable to astronauts orbiting in space.
Forbidden City
This is positioned at the heart of Beijing, the Forbidden City, it is also referred to as Gu Gong, in Chinese,
and was the royal palace all through the Ming and Qing dynasties. In the present time this place is known as
the Palace Museum, it is placed to the north of Tiananmen Square. It is rectangle in shape; and this is the
world's biggest palace complex which spreads over 74 hectares. There are 9,999 buildings bordered by a
moat which is six meters deep and a ten meter high wall.
