CLIENT SERVICING EXECUTIVE
WHO IS HE MBA’s (Marketing and Business Administration), Post Graduate Students from specialized Communication Course.  How ever personal attributes  suitable for the job are equally important The agency’s face as far as the client is concerned  Represents what the agency is about and what it delivers The link between the agency and its client One whom the client calls for queries, desired changes, even cribs that the client may have about the agency’s work Important to the agency since his success in relating with the client in a professional capacity on an ongoing basis.
KEY ROLE A.  In Relation to the Client Familiarizes as much as possible with the client’s brand, business, culture, market place, competition and target consumer Increases the comfort level of the client Should give an impression to the client “This person knows us, understands what we need, and will ensure the best work for us from his agency” B.  In Relation with the Agency Performing the role properly ensures that the client’s business remains with the agency for a longer period of time Ensures greater business and billing from the client NOTE  :  There have been instances of Client Servicing  Executive being offered a job by the client
ATTRIBUTES Lot of coordination, stays cool under pressure Maintains balance and calm.  Does not get worked up or excited Be ready to hear lots of ‘No’s then ‘Yes’ Does not take things personally Good Presentation and Management Skills Maintains good relations with personnel from various departments in the agency Enjoys communicating & is of a mixing nature Good writing skills like minute out the points after the meeting Briefing, filing reports, think and respond fast Has Clarity, Charm, ample of time to spare with client No grumbling and watching the clock, forget weekends Attends meetings and is more supportive Properly attired.  A well groomed look is an advantage
CAREER GRAPH Account Trainee or Junior Assistant Account Executive  –Conducts Client meetings but more as support & follow up to an Accounts Executive. Account Executive or Sr. Account Executive  – Account Trainee or Assistant Account Executive gets this designation when promoted. Account Supervisor  – Where Account Executive or Sr. Account Executive work under you.  Involvement not on a day to day basis, nitty / gritty but broader deliverables and efficiencies.  Handles 3 to 4 clients/products Account Director  – 2 to 3 Account Supervisors report to him. Concentrates on major clients / brands.  Group Account Director or Executive Vice President  :  Senior-most position-The Account Director report to him. To grow the business of the agency through existing clients and also developing new clients.  Have more freedom on decisions.  Bringing in new talent at required levels from other agencies
