Editor's Notes

  1. Make sure students have completed the absorb and the do activities on the blog before viewing these activities.
  2. Choice 1: Who am I cards are great for learning definitions and really understanding what the students are reading. They have to match based on the information on the cards.
  3. Preparing materials and giving lessons is a lot of fun for the children.
  4. Have students type or write the cards.
  5. If printing from a computer, two sets can be printed, one for a control and the other to cut apart.
  6. If printing from a computer, two sets can be printed, one for a control and the other to cut apart.
  7. The puzzle maps are a favorite in the classroom. This gives the students a new purpose for tracing them.
  8. The children love to hang their artwork in the classroom.
  9. This can be in the form of an essay or a script for a play (like the Saguaro Story).
