•CRAVE stresses the force
of physical appetite or
emotional need. DESIRE,
WISH, WANT, CRAVE,
COVET mean to have a
longing for..
•Ano bang Cravings mo sa mga
pagkakataong ito?
•Ano ang LF mo ngayun?
•Some of us siguro was craving for
food, to have handsome bf and
beautiful Gf, while some was
craving for cash😆 or kay Crush,
•What is the answer for us to
stop craving for something?
•Kaylan ba mahihinto ang
paghahanap natin ng mga
bagay na kahit kaylan man ay
hindi naman natin
•Truth: "Hindi lahat ng
good for the eyes, good for
the soul" at "Hindi lahat ng
cravings mo ay maganda
ang dulot sa iyong spiritual
na pamumuhay"
•Sa pamamagitan ng babaeng
Samaritana makikita natin
dito kung paano niya
napigilan ang paghahanap o
pagmimithi ng mga bagay na
hindi nya maranasan sa
•I. We Crave for
Belongingness (vv. 1-15)

•A. Attention
•Belongingness is the human
emotional need to be an
accepted member of a group.
Whether it is family, friends,
co-workers, a religion, or
something else, some people
•Si Hesus ay nakikipag-usap sa isang
babaeng Samaritana na kung saan ito
ay nag iigib ng tubig ng katanghaliang
tapat. Bakit sya nag iigib ng tanghaling
tapat? Hindi sila nakikihalubilo sa mga

•II. We Crave for Love
(vv. 16-19)

•A. Affection
•Most of us tend to confuse
our need for love with
emotional hunger. But this
hunger is not a need for love.
Love is something we share
with others driven by our
•However, when you seek to love to
fulfill yourself, then it is simply a
strong emotional need that makes
you engage in desperate behaviors
and actions to fill your inner void.
This hunger for love is a result of
deprivation, abandonment,
unhealthy attachment patterns,
•Psychologist and author Robert W.
Firestone, Ph.D., explains “Hunger
is a powerful emotion, which is
both exploitive and destructive to
others when it is acted out. People
identify this feeling with love and
mistakenly associate these longings
with genuine affection.”
•The seven characteristics of people
who crave love
•1. Obsession with affection
•2. They try to control people
•3. They’re demanding
•4. They beg for affection
•5. They make too many sacrifices
•"God turned our
mess into a message
where we can
encourage others
through it".
•"The real meaning of
love is when we
define it through
Christ and not our
worldly definition of

20-26)

were searching for it, even

positions and ambitions in
history want to know it. But

Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching,
you are really my disciples. 32 Then you
will know the truth, and the truth will
set you free.”

•6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the
•Conclusion:
•Outside Christ our cravings can lead
us to commit sin and do something
bad. But if Christ is in our lives our
cravings will no longer slave us
because we already find fulfilment
in all these things through Him.
