Daniel Tammet has two forms of synesthesia - grapheme-color, where letters and numbers have colors, and sound-color, where sounds induce moving colored pictures. He can visualize numbers as unique 3D shapes and instantly do complex math mentally by seeing the results. Tammet learned Icelandic in a week and speaks 11 languages. He has written two bestselling books about his experiences with synesthesia and savant skills.
