It all Started
• Three Kings Day (or The Epiphany) is a Christian holiday that commemorates the
biblical story of the three kings—Melchior, Caspar, and Balthazar. The three kings (also
known as the Wise Men or Magi) followed the bright star of Bethlehem to bring gifts to

    the Christ child.
Served for the Day
• Another lovely custom associated with the Three Kings Day holiday centers around the
evening meal. Traditionally, the supper served on this special day is delicious, tamales
accompanied by hot chocolate. This makes for a perfectly quintessential Mexican meal
and one that is enjoyed by everyone in attendance. But the most important is the “Rosa
de Reyes” which has a little with Pearson hidden inside of it.
• The person who receives needs to bake tamales for the 2 of February that is a Mexican

    holiday day!
With the Family
• We get together and someone bring a “Rosca de Reyes”, for the family to have for dinner
then every one cuts its own piece because if you get the little man hidden inside you and
only you are to bring the Tamales. Then we all go home to wait for the Reyes Magos to
leave the gifts ... In your shoe. The tradition is that you need to leave your shoes, a shoe
for every one who is receiving a gift. and in the morning is to enjoy of the gifts and the
    company of the family.
