Homage Ceremony

    Inmixtio Manum:
           • The vassal joins his hands as if he was praying and the
lord holds the vassal’s hands between his own hands.
 Oath of Fealty: (the vassal must swear upon a holy object such as a
       Bible, or a relic).
           • Vassal:
   - I swear to obey you, my lord.
   - I swear to help you with my army,
   - And to give you counsel
   - And also to give you any economic support that you may
     need
    Investiture
           • Lord:
   - In Exchange of your obedience I issue you
A fief symbolized by this sack of soil that will give you
sustenance for all your life. (The lord gives to the vassal a sack of
       soil)
   - I will also give you Military Protection and Legal Defense
   - And as conclusion of this union I’ll touch your shoulders
with my sword. (At this moment the lord touches gently both
shoulders of the vassal with his sword).
