New features in Dynamics GP 2015 have been confirmed to center on:
1.Service Based Architecture
2.Identity Management
3.Azure Procurement
4.Apps on multiple platforms
5.Expanded workflows
6.Single sign on through integration with Microsoft Azure Active Directory
1. General Ledger Batch Approval Workflow: Allows users to create workflow processes around General,
Clearing and Budget transaction batches. These processes need to be completed before defined document
processes.
2. Payables Batches Approval Workflow: Allows users to create workflow processes which need to be
completed before defined document processes.
3. Receivables Batch Approval Workflow: Allows users to create workflow processes which need to be
completed before defined document processes.
4. Vendor Approval Workflow: Allows users to create workflow processes which need to be completed before
defined document processes.
5. Project Expense Workflow: Project Accounting employees can create expense reports for any projects to which
they are assigned. Employees can also be set up to allow delegates to enter expense reports on their behalf.
Workflow approvals and task assignments are defined for expense reports; workflow actions are executed on the
documents from the Expense Entry window or from the Navigation lists.
6. Organizational Accounts User Authentication: This feature allows users to be authenticated for Microsoft
Dynamics GP using organizational account credentials, also known as Azure AD accounts. This allows the user to
log into the Microsoft Dynamics GP Web Client using the same credentials that are used for Office 365, Microsoft
Dynamics CRM Online, or many other cloud applications.
7. Service Based Architecture: With the addition of this functionality partners and ISVs can build more robust
integrations or create companion apps in their platform of choice expanding reach, depth and capability of
Microsoft Dynamics GP.
8. .Net Interop: Developers can now directly reference .NET assemblies and their objects in sanScript in order to
leverage capability offered in the .NET Framework. This includes the ability to call out to services or use objects as
a means of data handling and processing.
9. Employee Benefits: The new Benefits View window allows employees to view their benefits. Benefits View
shows employee contributions and employer contributions. An option for All or Active allows employees to view
what they are assigned as well as all benefits available.
10. Employee Self Service Functionality: The new Employee Profile window in Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015 allows
employees to view and/or update their personal information including Address/Phone Numbers, Emergency
Contacts, Dependents, and Position History. This is an extension of the Employee Self Service functionality.
11. Employee Profile, Skills & Training: The Employee Skills & Training window allows managers to view and edit
the Education and Tests for their team members. Managers can also view the Skills and Training for each
employee.

12. Service Based Architecture Deployment: The deployment for Service Based Architecture offers the flexibility to
meet your deployment needs. There is a simple single machine configuration for demo, development and smaller
production deployments. You may also choose a scale out deployment across multiple servers, using a single
tenant or multitenant configuration.
13. HR/Payroll Workflow Navigation List: In Microsoft Dynamics GP 2015 approvers have one place to view and
approve employee self-service changes. This is a one-stop-shop for managers to see all of their assigned tasks
including Payroll Timecards, Employee Profile, Employee Skills, Payroll W4, and Payroll Direct Deposit.
14. Employee W4 and Workflow: With Employee W4, the user can see their current W4 settings, view historical
W4’s, make changes, and submit the changes to workflow. From the Employee Time Management home page part
the user can choose update my W4.
15. Direct Deposit and Workflow: The Employee Direct Deposit window allows an employee to view and edit their
direct deposit information. They can start or stop direct deposit, add or remove accounts and edit the direct
deposit distribution.
16. Employee Paystubs: With Employee Self Service Paystubs, the user can see their pay stubs and then can view
the detail or print them to a printer.
17. Team Manger Employee Profile, Skills and Training: The Employee Skills & Training window allows managers
to view and edit the Education and Tests for their team members. Managers can also view the Skills and Training
for each employee.
18. Canadian Payroll on Web Client: This allows the full functionality of Canadian Payroll for those customers who
wish to use a web browser type of install for Microsoft Dynamics GP.
19. Fixed Assets Year End Report: Now, in a single step, you can close your year and print a status report of all the
assets that are being affected by the close. On the report you’ll see the year to date depreciation, cost basis,
accumulated depreciation, net book and more.
20. Create Refreshable Excel Reports: This feature will enable users to create refreshable Excel reports using
SmartList Designer. Reports created from SQL views may be published to the Excel report library. By publishing a
refreshable report, the user can open the report in Excel and the data will always be up to date.
21. Payment Terms – Transaction Calculation: A new selection was added to calculate the transaction due date
from the transaction date or from the discount date. Additional calculation options like annual or month/date and
being able to add days or months to the calculation gives you greater flexibility when setting up your payment
terms.
22. Payment Terms – Discount Date Calculation: Now you have the same calculation options for discount date
that you do for transaction due date. You choose among calculation options like annual, next month or
month/date and being able to add days, months, or years to the calculation gives you greater flexibility when
setting up your payment terms.
23. Copy Home Page and Area Page: This feature provides the ability to copy the Home Page Role, Home Page
Content, or Area Page Settings from one user to another. Make the User setup process a snap by simply copying
Security, Home Page Role, Home Page Content, or Area Page settings from an existing user.
24. Management Report Integration: The navigation list displays a list of reports the current user has
security access to and enables them to view the reports in the Management Reporter Viewer with just a
click of a button.

25. Management Reporter Integration Setup: The location of the Report Designer Application is an
optional field and when defined, will enable users to launch the designer from the Management
Reporter navigation list if they have permissions to application.
26. Management Reporter in Business Analyzer: This feature enables users to add Management Reporter
content to the Microsoft Dynamics Business Analyzer app. Users may add any Management Reporter
report to the app start page that they have permission to. Once added, they may take the action to
view the report in the Management Reporter HTML viewer.
27. Management Reporter Content in Business Analyzer: Users may add any Management Reporter report
to the app start page that they have permission to. Once added, they may take the action to view the
report in the Management Reporter HTML viewer.
28. Business Analyzer Cross Platform: This features enables tablet users on Windows, iOS or Android to
install and use the Microsoft Dynamics Business Analyzer app. Microsoft Dynamics Business Analyzer is
a cross Dynamics Business Intelligence app that enables AX, GP and SL customers the ability to view and
take action on key business information right at their fingertips.
29. Intercompany Journal Entry Inquiry: Having the Intercompany Journal Entry Inquiry window eliminates
the need for users to switch between companies to view all originating- and destination-company
distributions of an intercompany journal entry. All distributions can be viewed from one company.
30. Void Intercompany Journal Entries: Users will have the ability to void an intercompany journal entry,
including entries posted in destination companies, by voiding the original entry in the originating
company. This eliminates the need to void an entry in both the originating company, and individually in
each destination company as separate steps.
31. E-mail Historical Payables Remittance: When you want to send an e-mail for a historical document you
can add additional e-mail addresses and choose which e-mail addresses you wish to send to.
32. Employee Self Service – Purchase Requisitions: As part of the Employee Self Service functionality,
navigation is streamlined for the requester to see a requisition status or enter a requisition. Users are
able to quickly see important information right from their Home Page using the Saved, Ready for
Purchase, Pending User Action, Rejected Workflow, and Approval tiles.
33. Direct Deposit with Workflow: The Employee Direct Deposit window allows an employee to view and
edit their direct deposit information. They can start or stop direct deposit, add or remove accounts and
edit the direct deposit distribution. With workflow for Employee Direct Deposit, the direct deposit
changes can be routed to the appropriate people for verification before updating the employee’s data.
34. Existing Purchase Order Warning: A new warning message has been added to the Payables Transaction
Entry form to prompt the end-user if they attempt to post or save an invoice for a vendor that already
has an available Purchase Order in the application.
35. Management Reporter Data Integration: Users can determine the data that is available to the
Microsoft Dynamics Management Reporter DataMart, improving the performance and giving the user
control over the data selected.
