Pyramid
• Read the definitions and types of data including
examples on Handout H5.2
• Construct a pyramid on the chart paper that represents
the relative time and attention currently given to each of
the 5 types of data in your school (Weekly, quarterly,
annually, never)
• Write the name of each of the 5 types of data in the most
appropriate layer with the widest part of the pyramid
representing where you spend the greatest amount of
time…the top the least.
• Read Handout H5.3 silently

• Organize the 8 Stage title cards to display the SIP
process in a circle
• Overlay the 8 description cards on each appropriate
Stage.
• Examine Stage process planning calendar
