1. the overall experience of a person using a product such as a website or
computer application, especially in terms of how easy or pleasing it is to

What is UX ?
● "User experience" encompasses all aspects of the end-user's interaction
with the company, its services, and its products
● UX design is the process of designing (digital or physical) products that
are useful, easy to use, and delightful to interact with.

device, or piece of software is going to be.
● UX design is the art and science of generating positive emotions through

What is UX ?
● UX design is a commitment to building products with the customer in
mind.
● UX design is so much more than just designing for a screen.
● It’s a commitment to developing products and services with purpose,
compassion, and integrity.
● It’s the practice of meeting people’s needs before, during, and after
product development.
● UX design is about delighting users by anticipating their needs and
giving them something they didn’t think to ask for.
UX is a product of a process.
Design is not just what it looks like and feels like.
Design is how it works.

Why UX matters?
Because access to
your competitor is
only ever a tap or
two away...
User experience design is the
link between the three areas of
technology, business, and
design.
Technology
Design Business
Translating business goals to the
technology and design areas, making
sure the business is what drives the
features and design.
Explaining technology constraints to the
business and design areas, keeping
the design and business goals aware
of the technical realities.
Communicating design ideas to the
business and technology areas, and
ensuring that functional and aesthetic
priorities are managed.
