HSE HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) The Health and Safety department is one of the most important and curtail departments at Ezz steel due to its role in keeping the company functioning and operational. Working at a steel factory requires a great deal of focus and precautions due to the nature of work. So it was curtail for us to start with this workshop to avoid putting our lives at risk but also the lives of the workers that are working at the factory.

- 14. Billet reheating furnace - Temperature in furnace reach to 1200 degree (1:2 hour). - Reheating of billet use to facilities hot rolling process. - transport the billet by rolls.
- 15. Rolling Stands - Three stages (roughing – immediate - finishing). - Usage : to reduce cross section of billet by compression. - Water jet for rolls not for billet. - Use saw to cut front and end of the billet because of surface oxidation. - speed of rods 15 m/s.
