Today I will be sharing my Information report on football history on players.I will be answering questions that I set for myself. The Questions are:Where the players were born?Where the played [club football]?How many international caps did they have each?What has changed from then to now?When did each player start playing?Why are they famous?Why did they choose football?Did the play any other sports?

Mini profile:Name: Franz BeckenbauerCountry: Germany/ West GermanyInternational caps: 103International goals: 14Clubs: C Munich 1906, Bayern Munich, New York Cosmos, Sv Hamburg.Achievements: European footballer of the year in 1972 and 1976, wining the world cup in 1974 [as a player] and in 1990 [as a coach] and winning the European cup in 1974,1975 and 1976.Beckenbauer was born in admin ruins of post war Germany on the 18th of September 1945 in Munich. When he was 19 he played his first game for Bayern 5 years after he had signed for them. Before he played for Bayern he quit his part time job of being a sales men to become a pro footballer. He is the only player to win the world cup as a player and a manager. He won the world cup in 1974 as a player and in 1990 as a coach.

The next world cup he won was 4 years later held in Chile. This time they beat Czechoslovakia 3-1 in the final. The 3 and last world cup he won was in 1970 against Italy. The beat Italy 4-1. The tournament was held in Mexico.

Unlike all the other players he is the only one to not win the world cup. Cruyff has been to 2 world cup finals and hasn’t won any. He has been noticed in Europe and people still admire his trick called ‘the Cruyff turn’.
