This document discusses low-cost wood gas stoves that were designed with community participation in Srirangapur and Kothur villages in India. The stoves, called "Good Stoves", were designed to be portable and efficient to reduce fuel wood usage. They are now being used by villagers in Srirangapur and Kothur to cook meals for up to 400 people per day in a primary school.
