There are several major health issues affecting Australian youth including depression, anxiety disorders, autism, and diabetes. Schools play an important role in improving health outcomes by promoting physical activity and educating students about healthy lifestyles. Activities run by schools help raise awareness of issues like mental health, nutrition, sun safety, and sports. While illnesses may cannot always be prevented, living actively and healthily can help manage conditions and allow students to lead productive lives.

There are many different mental health and physical health issues that
are affecting our students across Australia and each are caused by a
combination of many different factors. With the applied forces of our
government, schooling systems and even volunteers from across the
country we are able to raise awareness for these students in order to
teach them how to lead healthy lifestyles and the benefits of having a
healthy life.
While some illnesses cannot be prevented they can be managed
through leading active, healthy lives and it is only by knowing what it is
to be healthy can our students lead their own lives productively.
