Hungary is located in Central Europe, with a population of over 10 million. It has borders with Austria, Croatia, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia. The document then provides details about ELTE University in Hungary, founded in the 17th century. It became a state university under Queen Maria Theresa and was once among the top 15 largest universities in the world. Today it has several faculties and thousands of students. The university values its European partnerships and has special programs in pedagogy and teacher training. History of ELTE Founded by Pazmany Petr archbishop in XVII.century Under the Qeen Maria Theresa became state university with four faculties At the turn of the XIXth century it belonged to the 15 biggest universities in the world. ELTE. has many world-famous scientists and four Nobel Prize laureates. 09-06-05

What are our value s ? We have many partners in European countries. ( SOKRATES and ERASMUS programme.) We have two specialisations on BA level for Nursery School Teachers and for Elementary School Teachers. We have special profile:pedagogy of inclusion, pedagogy of differencial, pedagogy of integration. We have special strukture of training, more than 20 weaks practise under four years. 09-06-05

We can participate in two working groups school concepts and world haritage We are going to accept outcome of the project We are going to start special courses for our students We are going to organise conferences for teachers We are going to recommend outcome of it for our partners at home, and abroad 09-06-05
