Eligible Vehicles www.CaliforniaHVIP.org The eligible vehicle list is maintained on the HVIP web site: http://www.californiahvip.org/eligibleveh.asp The vehicle list is updated as additional vehicles are made eligible 57 vehicles on list as of Feb 1, 2010 More vehicles are expected to be added in Feb and March 2010 Only vehicles that are on the list are eligible for vouchers
Eligible Vehicles www.CaliforniaHVIP.org Note restriction on vehicles with  engine  MY09 diesel engines:  vehicles had to have been ordered in 2009 to be eligible for voucher FAQs: No International  engine  MY10 vehicles on eligibility list yet. FCCC MT55 application has been submitted but not yet approved.  Not the same as Freightliner M2. Freightliner M2 tractor 33,001 - 38,000 GVWR has been submitted but not yet approved. Make sure truck MY and engine MY on voucher request are exactly the same as truck MY and engine MY on order.

Voucher Request Process www.CaliforniaHVIP.org Right after electronic voucher request, submit via mail (must be received within one week of electronic voucher request): Voucher request form terms & conditions signed by purchaser and dealer Dealer-signed Copy of Purchase Order Copy of purchaser’s drivers license
Voucher Request Process www.CaliforniaHVIP.org Within one month from voucher request, enter into  web site: VIN or vehicle serial number Expected delivery date to purchaser Every 120 days – renew vouchers
Voucher Redemption Process Redemption requests will be web-based Functionality activated later in February www.CaliforniaHVIP.org
Voucher Redemption Process Required documentation: Delivery Bill of Lading Line Setting Ticket (or Factory Build Sheet)  DMV registration and tags (temporary are okay) Invoice Vehicle GVWR for the purposes of the HVIP is as identified on the Line Setting Ticket.  Vehicle invoice must provide line items listing the vehicle base price, voucher discount, and all applicable taxes and fees. www.CaliforniaHVIP.org
Voucher Redemption Process Visually inspect the delivered vehicle to ensure that the vehicle and engine model year, vehicle make, model, and engine family match that identified on your voucher.  These must match for the voucher to be redeemed.  These instructions will be updated by February 26, 2010 to provide details regarding visual inspection and documentation requirements for the vehicle.  www.CaliforniaHVIP.org
Voucher Redemption Process Log onto the HVIP webpage, and electronically redeem the voucher.  Print out a hard copy of the voucher redemption form for your and the purchaser’s signature, and submit the form along with copies of the items previously identified to the address indicated.  www.CaliforniaHVIP.org
Voucher Redemption Process TIAX reviews documents If OK, processes redemption request TIAX review: 0-7 days CALSTART processes request and makes payment send via overnight delivery to dealer CALSTART payment: 0-7 days www.CaliforniaHVIP.org
