INTRODUCTION  Chetan Bhagat, is an Indian author, columnist, screenwriter, and speaker. Bhagat is the author of bestselling novels, Five Point Someone, One Night @ the Call Center, The 3 Mistakes of My Life, 2 States, Revolution 2020, and What Young India Wants.
BIRTH AND FAMILY  Born: April 22, 1974 (age 40), New Delhi  Spouse: Anusha Bhagat (m. 1999)  Movies: 2 States, Kai Po Che!, Nanban, Kick, Hello  Children: Ishaan Bhagat, Shyam Bhagat
ABOUT WORK AND CAREER  In 2008,The New York Times called Bhagat "the biggest selling English language".  Bhagat, an alumnus of Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) Delhi and Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, is seen more as a youth icon than as an author.  Time magazine named him as one of the 100 Most Influential People in the world.
EARLY DAYS  Bhagat was born in Delhi to a middle-class Punjabi family.  His father was an officer in the army (Lt Col) and his mother was a government employee in the agricultural department.  Bhagat's education was mostly in Delhi. He attended Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan, New Delhi (1978–1991).  He studied Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT-D) (1991–1995) afterwards, done MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (1995–1997).
EARLY DAYS  After MBA from IIM - A, he worked in CITI Bank and Deutsche Bank for 11 years ( 1997 - 2008 ) before shifting to Mumbai to pursue his passion for writing. He has written 6 books, all of which are bestsellers. His first 2 novels were written by him while he was still working.
NEXT PROTAGONIST  For his next novel's protagonist comes from a remote village who comes to learn Spoken English in Patna for which he visits British Lingua, a spoken English Skills training Institute in India.
AWARD AND RECOGNITION  Society Young Achiever' award in 2004.  Publisher's Recognition award in 2005.  Bhagat in Time magazine's list of World's 100 Most Influential People 2010 .  Filmfare Award for Best Screenplay 2014- Kai Po Che.
CONCLUTION Chetan Bhagat is one of the best writer of India . His work and devotion to our contry is really appreciable. He is good writer, speaker and motivator. He is rolemodel for young Indians.
