Expose Services Defined with Process Designer as SOAP Endpoints and encoding option used by most web services Call a Published Process from a Service Call Step - You can now publish a process in Process Designer and make the process available as a service call. Built-in Services – Email -to send an email as a part of a published process Shell Command - When you need to run a shell command within a process, you can now define this as a Service Call step, using the Run a Shell Command action Alert -you can now set up an alert service and email service to notify administrators, for both a Secure Agent and for your organization’s processes Informatica DiscoveryIQ / ICRT Service Reports gives customers visibility into process and guide execution metrics. --------- Connectors  SAP BAPI connector  FTP Connector  Amazon Simple Queuing Services (SQS) Connector - You can use the new Amazon SQS Connector for Cloud Application Integration to enable processes that are triggered by receipt of a message in a monitored SQS queue.  Amazon Simple Notification Service (SNS) Connector  Informatica Address Doctor Cloud API Connector  Informatica Cloud Service API Connector Patterns  Expose Services Defined with Process Designer as SOAP Endpoints - When you define processes using Process Designer, you can now expose the services as SOAP endpoints. Process Designer supports the SOAP 1.1 standard with the document/literal message style and encoding option used by most web services.  Fault Handling improvements – catching faults with boundary event handlers  Call a Published Process from a Service Call Step - You can now publish a process in Process Designer and make the process available as a service call. The process and any events it exposes displays in the actions list of the Service Call step. Built-in Services  Email Service - You can use the Informatica Process Designer to send an email as a part of a published process. To send an email, you must configure an Email connection on an agent, on the cloud, or on both, to connect to an SMTP server.  Shell Command Service - When you need to run a shell command within a process, you can now define this as a Service Call step, using the Run a Shell Command action. The shell command runs on a Secure Agent, which can also be called from the Cloud Server as a subprocess. You enable this service option at runtime using the Process Console.  Alert Service - If you define processes that suspend on uncaught faults, you can now set up an alert service and email service to notify administrators, for both a Secure Agent and for your organization’s processes that run on the Cloud Server.  Informatica DiscoveryIQ / ICRT Service Reports - The Informatica DiscoveryIQ service now gives customers visibility into process and guide execution metrics. A variety of operations, KPI, and adoption reports were added to other reports available from DiscoveryIQ with Informatica Cloud.

Intelligent Dashboard for monitoring Informatica platform Next-generation dashboard that provides user management features such as delegated access, user-based analytics, agent log analysis, Timeline, Recommendations and Notifications Upgrade features pertaining to the org Critical task suggestions Readiness checklist Pre-upgrade and Post-upgrade reports Upgrade: 1) Suggests recommended tasks that needs to be tested on the pre-release 2) Subject matter recommendations based on the problems faced. 3) Agent level checks including disk space, IP whitelisting, things to back up etc. 4) Pre and post upgrade reports with validations will be sent 1 week before and after the upgrade. ICRT Provides usage analytics on guide and process usage over time and by user Includes log analysis if IDIQ agent is installed along with the secure agent.
7. New data masking transformation provides rules-based masking of PII, PCI and other sensitive data. You can use this transformation to mask sensitive information before it leaves your corporate firewall. New stored procedure transformation to invoke database stored procedures in your databases that are onpremise or in the cloud. You can use this transformation to call database stored procedures for various purposes such as to validate semantics of customer data, or perform specialized lookups to augment attributes to your master or transactional data etc.    SOQL support supports the Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) and gives flexibility to search Salesforce data for specific information, or to extract data from related Salesforce objects by using custom joins and filters.New Structure Parser transformation for parsing logs and machine data -------------------- SOQL Query support in Source to read data from external data sources efficiently Enhanced Data Masking transformation capabilities with support for custom substitution rules Examples: validate semantics of customer names by checking for spaces, digits and special characters automate a set of tasks, error handling drop and recreate indexes specialized calculations such as determine space in database Mapping developers can now include complex SOQL queries to read data from Salesforce efficiently Significant performance improvement by pushing the query (selection of fields, filters, joins etc) to the Salesforce source SOQL query can be parameterized and configured through REST APIs Allows Mappings to leverage the power of Database scripting by calling Stored Procedures and Functions defined in the database

10. NetSuite: Our new NetSuite connector takes advantage of native NetSuite API multi-threading and parallel processing to deliver linear scaling and breakthrough read/write performance. Our internal benchmarks show throughput improvements of over 66x! . Salesforce Marketing Cloud: Our updated connector fully supports all advanced custom objects (also referred to as Data Extensions) via the Marketing Cloud API Marketo: Our updated connector fully supports all advanced custom objects via the Marketo API   Advanced JSON/XML file support: Our new connector for complex file processing supports HDFS for enabling big data patterns such as data lakes, as we well as support for multiple folders, local and remote file systems.   Other new major enterprise connectors that are part of Winter 2016 include: Microsoft Dynamics, Azure DocumentDB, SAP HANA, and Oracle JD Edwards.   We also have new SaaS connectors that include Anaplan, SugarCRM, Zendesk and Zoho.
