RATIONALE
Worksheets are definitely
the backbone to students
learning and grasping concepts
taught by the teacher. Making
your own worksheets is easy,
and it allows you to include just
the right material that you want
to be sure your students can
learn and commit to memory
A paper listing questions or tasks
for students, a paper for recording work
done or in progress. The term may also
refer to a paper listing questions or
assignments for students. A sheet of
paper on which work schedules,
working time, special instructions, etc.,
are recorded. A piece or scrap of paper
on which problems, ideas, or the like,
are set down in tentative form.
Objectives:
In this Worksheets, students
learn how to identify the adjectives,
nouns and Adverb.
- To test the prior and learned
knowledge of the student about a
certain topic.
-to answer the given question in the
worksheet.
> computer or laptop
Printer
Bond paper
Reference book
STEP 1
The first thing you need to do is know the
information that you want to include on your
worksheet. Make yourself an outline of what
you want included. You must then decide how
you want to present the questions to the
students. Do you want it to be a multiple choice
or fill-in-the-blank worksheet whereas students
need to use their textbooks in order to answer
the questions correctly?
STEP 2
Next, you need to design your
worksheet on paper. To do this, you can
use the word processing program on your
computer, such as Microsoft. Choose a font
that is easy for kids to read. Make sure that
the colors you choose will show up nicely
on a printed version of the worksheet
STEP 3
Take a look at the worksheet that you
prepared on your computer screen. Make sure you
have included everything that you want. Now take a
look at the worksheet in a "print preview" window.
This window shows you exactly what will print. You
will want to do this to make sure that everything you
put on the worksheet will print out okay. This is an
especially important step, if you have adjusted
margins in any way. Once you have previewed how
it will print, you can either make some adjustments
(reducing font size, reducing clipart size, etc.) or just
go ahead and print out the worksheet.
STEP 4
Of course, you will need to make multiple
copies of the worksheet for your students.
Consider printing one copy of the worksheet at
home or in your classroom, and using the color
copier in your school office, if one is available. If
your worksheet has a lot of color on it, then it will
use up your printer ink pretty quickly. If your school
does not have a color copier, then consider taking
the worksheet to a quick copy place like Kinkos or
Office Max to run the copies for you. And your
copies will be done quickly and easily.
An Adverb Can Tell Where
Adverbs give more information about the verb (action) in a sentence.
Some adverbs tell where the action is happening or where it took place.
Here are some adverbs that tell where:
Outside inside everywhere down away
here there behind backwards far
anywhere high low above
Complete each sentence with an adverb from the above word bank.
1. The sun went ______________ , and the stars began to shine.
2. My brothers like to play______________ in the afternoon.
3. We couldn’t find our dog_______________ .
4. Your friend Robert is _______________ to see you.
5. We have to play ______________ on rainy days.
6. The balloons flew __________________when the strings broke.
7. Our airplane cruised ________________ above the clouds.
8. I am running __________________in my homework.
9. We watched the funny clown walk___________________ .
10. The frightened deer ran ________________from the forest fire.
11. The tree branch was bent ______________from the weight of the snow.
12. The vultures circled _________________as the temperature rose.
13. The settlers lived _________________from town.
