Job Description    An interior designer’s job is to enhance an interior room or space. They work on all types of rooms in homes, hospitals, movie theaters, airports, shopping malls, or pretty much anywhere. Interior designers work with furniture, colors, lighting, textures and more to fit the needs of the clients.
Education/Training Required     After students have gotten at least 2 year college education at an interior design school, many go on to complete a 1-3 year internship before taking an exam to earn your interior design license. Once the license has been earned, most continue their study in order to keep it.
Earnings Per Year    The salary for an interior designer ranges from around 32,000-50,000.However, some earn up to 78,000 per year. It all depends on experience and where you live.

Why does this career interest me? This Career interests me because I love drawing and designing things. I love art in general. I like seeing my ideas and thoughts in my head become actual realities on paper or in life. I love being creative and trying new things.
