7. According to Chris Brogan, Twitter is a useful communication tool
that allows us to interact with people around the world in three
different ways:
1. Send a short message to a bunch of people publicly
2. Send a short message to a specific person publicly
3. Send a short message to a specific person privately

8. Benefits of using Twitter as a
Marketing Tool
Twitter is a controversial marketing tool. Many companies have
achieved a considerable amount of success on Twitter by marketing
their products and services to people around the world and branding
their business like never before.
9. USE TWITTER FOR MARKETING
Personal:
Twitter is one of the only ways to personally interact with potential customers. This
type of interaction builds loyalty, brands your business and does more on a personal
basis than nearly any other marketing method imaginable.
Free Press Release:
When you have built up enough followers, Twitter can act as a free press
release tool. Any time you need to announce something to the public, simply
make a tweet or two and suddenly everyone knows about your news. You
don't need to spend money on a press release, and unlike with a press
release you can answer any questions your followers have about the news
directly.
10. USE TWITTER FOR MARKETING
- Use Twitter to drive people to your company’s website. Tweet about interesting resources your
employees have posted on your blog or website.
-Monitor your brand on Twitter: Using Twitter Search tool (http://search.twitter.com), you can
search and track what people are saying about your company, products, competitors or any other
hot words in your industry.

4) Use Twitter to promote events. A great way to get to know your Twitter
community offline. When your company holds an event, fundraiser or open
