This document is an exam for the Advanced Level Psychology course. It provides instructions for a 1 hour and 30 minute exam consisting of 3 questions to be answered from a choice of 8 questions. The questions cover topics in psychology like biological rhythms and sleep, perception, relationships, aggression, eating behavior, gender, intelligence and learning, and cognition and development. Students are instructed to refer to theories and studies in their answers and to write in continuous prose demonstrating good English, organization, and use of specialist vocabulary.

(25 marks) RELATIONSHIPS Total for this question: 25 marks 3 ‘To put it at its most basic, women want resources and men want to spread their genes.’ Discuss the evolutionary approach to explaining parental investment in humans (eg sex differences, parent-offspring conflict).
