The lesson plan is for a 6th grade class in Vale Public School No. 1 in Georgia. The lesson topic is about diversity and multiculturalism, focusing on a school day in Great Britain. The objectives are for students to identify school customs in Great Britain by watching a video and doing pre, during, and post-reading activities. Students will learn new vocabulary related to British school customs and compare/contrast British and Georgian school days through discussion and a chart activity. The lesson concludes with students role-playing interviews between a British and Georgian student about their typical school days.
