Lionsgate Films
Why did we choose Lionsgate?
• Distributes a high number of films with a range of
genres. 200 films since 1997 - successful
• Distributed several crime thrillers, similar to our film.
Two examples are 'Captivity' and 'Narc.‘
• Distributes British films as well as American films.
E.g. The Theory of Everything
How would our film be released?
1. Theatrical release. It will be released on a national and
European scale, similar to the Lionsgate distributed film
‘Testament of Youth.’ It is mainly specific to British audiences
and will get a release at all main cinemas but as European
countries like the film noir genre, it will be released there
too.
2. TV and VOD. Lionsgate Home Entertainment is the home
video and DVD distribution arm of Lions Gate Entertainment,
which finished 2012 with a 9.5% market share, in the top 5
studios. Lionsgate also supports UltraViolet.
