The location report discusses two locations used for a music video and film production. The first location at a Great Park was scouted to ensure it provided a naturalistic background and would be suitable despite potential mud or crowds. The second location used rooms within a house like the kitchen and bedroom to portray a realistic narrative the audience could relate to. Photos of each location were included to help plan filming and portray the narrative through realistic mise-en-scene.
2. Location Report
In these scenes we used the location of the Great Park we wanted to have a
naturalistic background when the artist was singing… Before going ahead with
filming we had looked around the location and decided whether or not it
would be suitable for our music video. We took into account how busy the
area was as well as how muddy and wet it was so we were prepared for when
it came to film.
The images below are some shots we took of the locations we wanted to use
for our production.
4. Location Report
For the narrative we wanted to use a realistic location of a house using the
kitchen, bedroom and dining room etc. Which would allow the narrative to
make more sense for the audience as they can relate it to real life situations.
We thought it would be easier to use one of our houses as it would be more
convenient for the filming schedule and easier for us if we needed to do more
filming then planned.
The images below are some of the pictures we took before starting to film so
we had an idea of how we could portray our narrative through realistic mise
en scene.
