Break Up
• “Being in this band for the past 12 years has been
a true blessing. We've gotten to go places we
never knew we would. We've been able to see
and experience things we never imagined
possible. We've shared the stage with people we
admire, people we look up to, and best of all, our
friends. And now, like all great things, it has come
time for it to end. Thanks for all of your support,
and for being part of the adventure.
My Chemical Romance.” Was posted on their
  website on Friday March 22nd
Behind the Band
• On the way to an interview with MGM studios
in NY, Gerard Way witnessed the 9/11 terrorist
attacks, after that he decided to change his life
and make a difference. He wrote Skylines and
turnstiles to express his feelings about 9/11.
Mikey Way
• Brother to Gerard Way, played Bass in My
chemical romance form the beginning. He also
suggested the name after working in a book
shop, He was struck by Irvin Welsh’s Book
Ecstasy: three tales of Chemical romance.
• (Nobody likes him, cuz he sucks)
Gerard Way
• Brother to Mikey Way, and the lead singer of
My chemical Romance. Him, Ray Toro, and
Matt Pelissier formed the band, before
recruiting the other members. Gerard never
wanted to be a singer, he always wanted to be
a comic book artist. But events took another
  turn. Thankfully.
Frank Iero
• Was the front man for the early punk band
Pencey Prep, after they broke up he joined
MCR as the rhythm guitarist and backup
  vocalist.
Ray Toro
• Co founder and lead guitarist of MCR. He also
  has a really cool afro.
