Dima is an 11-year-old boy who enjoys reading historical novels and listening to pop music. He lives with his parents, 29-year-old mother Svetlana who cares for him and his 1-year-old brother, and his 30-year-old father Ivan who works as a driver. Dima's favorite part of summer is visiting his grandparents' village home where the family enjoys swimming, fishing, badminton and spending evenings together drinking tea.

- 2. My name is Dima. I am eleven years old. I would like to tell you about my family.
- 3. There are four of us in the family. I have got a mother, a father and a younger brother. First of all, I would like to tell you about myself.
- 4. I am in the fifth grade. I like to read historical novels and listen to pop music. My younger brother is one year old. He is very good and I like to play with him.
- 5. My mother’s name is Svetlana. She brings up me and my younger brother. She is 29 years old and she is the best. My father’s name is Ivan. He is thirty years old. He works as a driver. He is constantly busy and we can play with him only at the weekend.
- 6. We always go to the village to our grandparents during summer holidays. There is a lake there and we swim in it. We also play badminton, go fishing and in the evening we get together, drink tea, talk and laugh.
