Non-verbal communication accounts for over 65% of social meanings conveyed in a conversation. It includes facial expressions, gestures, eye contact, posture, touch, use of space, time, smell, tone of voice, and other physical aspects. Being aware of non-verbal cues and using positive body language can help build confidence and avoid misunderstandings.

2. Communication in general is process of sending and receiving messages that enables humans to share knowledge, attitudes, and skills. Although we usually identify communication with speech, communication is composed of two dimensions - verbal and nonverbal .

4. BODILY SPEAKING… According to the social anthropologist, Edward T. Hall, in a normal conversation between two persons, less than 35% of the social meanings is actually transmitted by words. So, at least 65% of it is conveyed through the body (non-verbal channel).
