Great design begins with understanding that there are moments of truth for every brand. #Design4MoT has never been more important.
Those moments of truth are often at the cross roads of opportunity, a users unmet needs, and your ability to transform the mundane or transitional task into magic.

Gesture-Controlled Stones Assist Those with Physical Challenges
Smartstones put remote communication in the hands of people with physical challenges, ranging from blindness to nonverbal autism spectrum disorders to hearing impairment and ALS.
Smartstones are mini and wearable tech that facilitate remote communication
http://www.smartstones.co/
This durable “stone” the size of a worry rock is packed with LED lights, a gesture recognition library, touch interface, gyroscope, speakers and Bluetooth connectivity. Though a smartphone isn’t required for use, it interfaces with an app that lets the user and his-her loved ones program it to respond to specific gestures.
For example, the stone could be programmed to text a loved one “thinking of you” when tapped twice, or “feeling anxious” if rubbed with a thumb. Other gestures and combinations of gestures it recognizes include swipes, taps and shakes. It also includes a GPS tracker so loved ones can respond to a call for help.
Current models of the stone can be worn as pendants, or on a wrist band. The accompanying app is designed securely to keep communication private.
Backer rewards for the Indiegogo campaign include pre-orders at one for $79 and $149 for two, listed as 40 percent off the projected retail price. A pendant necklace reward comes for $39 and a leather cuff arm bracelet costs $49.

speaking of magical communications -
Bill and Ted used their magic telephone booth to revisit history.
but could we use it to create a mythical moment that recalled an email when you hit reply to all or hit send on that email you should have never sent?
The Beta List: unSend.it
unSend.it enables anyone with an email address complete control over their sent email. It's a free service that will help anyone who's ever sent an email by mistake to easily 'unsend' it with the click of a button. The real kicker is the ability to unSend or edit emails at any time – even after they've been opened by the recipient!

PizzaTime is a beautiful desktop timepiece by award-winning technology design consultancy Artefact.
However, it is what’s inside the wooden box that truly counts.
PizzaTime is a physical clock that uses the Edison platform to connect to the Domino’s Pizza Tracker API to deliver you melty, cheesy, carby goodness at the press of a button.
How does it work? You twist the dial on the top of the clock to reveal different apps on the LED display (in this case, the PizzaTime app). Press down on the button to select, twist again to choose your favorite kind of pizza, press down again to confirm your order and boom! 30-45 minutes later you have a piping hot Domino’s pizza at your door!
