Biography I am a UI/UX Designer & Developer with a HND in Web Design and
Development, with 3 years experience professionally and freelance. I have a
strong knowledge of modern UI/UX Design methodologies, front-end
responsive and static web design and development, rapid prototyping,
wire-framing, user testing and general front-end development.
In my previous career I held a supervisor role for a number of years, where I
gained extensive experience in project management overseeing projects from
concept through to completion. With a keen interest in learning new skills and
keeping up to date with the latest in UI/UX Design and Web Development, I feel
I would be an asset to any professional team.

This is a part-time evening position where I teach a BTEC Higher National
Diploma (Fetac level 6) course in Web Design and Development.
 Successfully taught students the fundamentals of Web Design and
Development allowing for successful progression into the second year
of their diploma.
 Communicated course content effectively via PowerPoint
presentations and class discussion to a diverse range of skill levels and
age groups, ensuring all students achieved a solid understanding of
subject matters.
 Updated and created course content to ensure the most relevant and
current design and development methods and techniques are
delivered to students.
 Marked end of term assignments and provided constructive feedback
defining students strengths and weaknesses, allowing students to
focus on areas requiring improvement.
EXPERIENCE Edudoc LTD
October 2014 – May 2016
Edudoc is a startup software development company. Our flagship product was
an online Learning Management System called ‘Sembly’. I was initially hired by
Edudoc to perform QA testing, but given my training I soon moved into UX
design and development. It wasn’t long before I was leading the UI/UX Design
and Development of the Sembly platform.
 Liaised with users (in this case teachers and students), and conducted
extensive market research to determine the feasibility of such a
product existing and operating successfully within the current
education system.
 Visited schools to test various stages of the Sembly platform in a
working environment, gaining valuable feedback aiding the
development of further iterations of the platform.
 Translated user test sessions and workshops into wireframes, user
flows, working prototypes and eventually high quality intuitive user
interfaces that were fully responsive across all desktop, tablet and
mobile devices.
 Operating in an Agile environment I successfully communicated final
designs and ideas clearly and concisely to the development team,
assuring deadlines were met consistently and effectively.
 Maintained Edudoc’s online presence utilizing social media platforms,
writing blog posts and designing and building html email templates.
 Established and promoted a strong working relationship with our
print company, resulting in high quality production of advertising
products and brand materials designed by myself utilizing a multitude
of technologies.
EXPERIENCE LetzGo City Tours
June 2014 - September 2014
LetzGo City Tours is a Dublin based city tour company operating in Dublin,
London, New York and Paris. I was hired to design, build and maintain the
companies website and online presence.
 Engaged with stakeholders and established a strong working
relationship that has been maintained to this day.
 Using the WordPress platform designed and developed the LetzGo
website based on the requirements of the stakeholders, helping the
company to establish their online presence allowing year on year
growth in a highly competitive market.
 Implemented best SEO practices, successfully improving the
companies search rankings allowing for further conversion rates and
company growth.
 Continually maintain and update the LetzGo website content and
design to ensure the LetzGo brand and SEO practices are kept
current.
