education, relationships, health, happiness,
productivity, spirituality, and other personal
goals.

Personal development is the conscious
evolution of human nature, and yet

needs;
11. Common assumptions in Personal
Development
• You are responsible for how you live your life. People who are on
the personal development path understand that their thoughts and
actions play a big role in what they get out of life.
• You need to define what you want before you can achieve it. Many
people go through life aimlessly, without a clear destination in mind.
Ultimately, however, we need to identify our values in life before we
can achieve them.
• You need to be willing to invest yourself, which requires short-term
costs that lead to long-term benefits. There are no magic pills or
blueprints for you to follow.
• “If you keep doing what you’ve always done, you’ll keep getting what
you’ve always got.” Sometimes we won’t know what the correct
course of action is until we have experimented with different things.
12. Common assumptions…
The
more attuned you are to the present, the greater
control you have over your day-to-day actions. The present
moment is your place of power.
Learn
from the past. While we can’t change our past, but
we can often look back on it and learn from our past
mistakes and past successes.
Be
optimistic about the future. We don’t always know what
the future may bring, but if we remain optimistic and
hopeful we allow ourselves to act in ways that help create
that fact. Often times, it can become a kind of self-fulfilling
prophecy.
How
you think strongly influences how you act. And how
you act will determine the results you get out of life.
13. Personal development plan
TEMPLATE PLUS ACTION STEPS
Creating a personal development is one tough process. If the plan is not
easy and simple to follow, you may result in procrastinating and wasting
time.
This is by far the easiest personal development you can follow
Exactly write down what you really want.
e.g. Your goals. If you want a Lexus jeep write it.
List down priority things you will have to do achieve this goal e.g. I will
get a loan, I will find a new job etc.
Have
you completed the priority things? Start ticking the days you it will
get to achieve this goals….1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6……..
What
is the Result after a particular period you have planned to achieve
this goal. Have you wasted time? You can repeat the process over and
over

simple perception of the situation or facts."
Thus, "common sense" (in this view) equates to
the knowledge and experience which most
people already have, or which the person using
the term believes that they do or should have.
The Cambridge Dictionary defines it as, "the basic
level of practical knowledge and judgment that
we all need to help us live in a reasonable and
safe way".
22. Attitude:
To
be successful in sales, you must have an attitude
that supports you through the ups and downs of the
sales cycle. You must be able to cope with rejection,
move quickly to take advantage of opportunities,
and all the while impress clients with your
enthusiasm and energy.

Taking action to improve your efficiency and
productivity should be at the top of your daily To-Do
list. Dealing with mountains of tasks, other people and
our natural tendencies towards procrastination, slow
down your progress considerably each day.
26. Clear Your Clutter
Streamline
your workspace, your home, or any
environment where you spend a lot of time in,
will make a huge difference instantly.
. Make it a daily habit to keep work surfaces
clear and tidy. By maintaining order, you will be
able to manage your time more effectively.
27. Process and Organize
As
a sales professional deal with items as
soon as you come into contact with
them.
As a sales professional paper work is
inevitable. Set up a simple system to
process and organize your paperwork,
you will increase your efficiency.
28. Stay Focused
Interruptions are a regular occurrence
Too
many or the wrong kind of interruptions
are annoying and counter-productive. e.g.. BB,
social calls, unplanned visit, newspapers etc.
Time management skills like this allow you to
work more productively and focus on selected
tasks in the priority you choose.
29. Use Technology
Being
tech-savvy in the workplace will help you
communicate effectively and quickly, access
information with ease, and stay better informed.
However, be conscious of
the amount of time you
actually spend using
technology. Not everything
needs a technical solution
30. Delegation
Involve
other people to help you manage
your time more effectively.
Delegating
tasks can achieve impressive
results and free up your time so you can
work on higher priority items. When it
makes sense, utilize other people's skills and
knowledge to your advantage.
This was before the global economic crisis largely due to the high oil prices, inflow from foreign direct investment and prudent macroeconomic management.
