TREATMENT OF ANIMALS 
(PETA)
 PeTA is an American animal rights 
organization based in Norfolk, 
Virginia. 
 Its slogan is "animals are not ours 
to eat, wear, experiment on, use for 
entertainment or abuse in any way.”
Peta conducted a 
form of live 
advertising by 
having models lay 
out on the street 
as "human meat". 
The models are 
wearing bloody 
make-up and 
packaged like 
meat would be in 
a grocery store.

named ‘None 
of us would 
like to end 
up like 
this.. 
neither would 
other-than-human 
animals’
PETA protestors used 
empathetic shock 
advertising by covering 
themselves in fake 
blood while laying in 
human-sized meat

that humans eat which 
people purchase in 
bloody packets.
