Marty finds a beagle while on a walk and names it Shiloh. He returns Shiloh to its owner, Judd Travers, but later keeps the dog for himself without telling anyone. Marty's mother finds out about Shiloh but promises not to tell Marty's father. One night, the neighbor's German Shepherd attacks Shiloh. Marty's father discovers this and they take Shiloh to a doctor to recover. Judd then says Marty can keep Shiloh if he works for Judd for three days, which Marty agrees to do.

Beginning Marty was eating Sunday dinner ,the day Shiloh came. After dinner, Marty went for a walk. On his walk, he spotted a shorthaired beagle with white and brown fur with black spots. He figured it was Judd Travers dog. Marty started to play with the beagle. When it was time for Marty to go home the beagle followed him all the way home.
Middle Marty went to Judd Travers house to return the dog although he didn’t want to but he was forced to give the beagle by his dad . Then he made a promise to Judd that if the dog goes out again he will tell that to him . One day Marty saw the same dog again ! Instead of telling Judd Travers he kept the dog for himself and named it Shiloh . Marty never told his parents . Then his mom found out and promised Marty that she would not tell his dad.
End Then one day at night, the German Shepherd that lived next door to Marty’s house jumped over the fence that Shiloh was sleeping next to. THEN THE SHEPERD ATTACKED SHILOH!!!! Marty’s dad found that out , and they had to bring Shiloh to the doctor who wasn’t a vet! Then Shiloh got better, and Judd said Marty could keep him if he would work for 3 days . He finally finished it , and he got to keep Shiloh!
