 The Definition & Meaning Of Political socialization. The political socialization is the process through which a person develops a set of political beliefs and opinions. Political socialization is how people come to learn about and develop their political beliefs. Political socialization is a life long process by which people from their ideas about politics and acquire political values. The Political socialization is very important for every human. The political socialization is the process through which a person develops political beliefs and opinion that influence their behavior in social spheres. Political socialization is a process by which an individual gets knowledge about the political system, political values and belief. Political socialization helps the individual to acquaint himself with political culture and also to change himself according it. The Political socialization is play a very important role in the like, Family, Education and mass media etc or political socialization is a particular type of political learning whereby people develop the attitudes, values and behaviors that are conducive to becoming good citizens in their country.

 The function of political socialization.  The main function of political socialization is the transmission of political values from one generation to another.  Political socialization introduces values, norms and orientations in the minds of individuals.  The Political socialization is the modification of political culture.  It maintains transforms and sometimes creates the political culture of a people.  The Importance of political socialization.  It brings enlightenment among the people.  It helpful in maintaining political culture.  Provide link between political system and social system.  It prepare the people for political roles.

 The agents of political socialization.  These are the few important agent of political socialization are :-  Family – The family is the primary influence in the development of a child political orientation, mainly due to constant relationship between parents and child. Family is important because child learn everything from their family that is why family is play a very important role in the political socialization.  School – is also play a very important role in the political socialization because children are introduced to election and voting when they choose class officers. They get knowledge by their teacher and friends because school are involved in politics issues such as curriculum reform, make a class representative via the voting system and then they are able to socialized themselves gradually so, school is play a very important role in the political socialization.  Workplace – The place where adults usually share thoughts, new ideas and different approaches to politics.  Religious groups – These groups have strong political beliefs that could strengthen or weaken member’s views.

 Mass Media – There are lot’s political of information we get from the television, newspaper, radio and internet. Because of mass media we are able to know political information such as public opinion, political issues and new political scheme and many other’s we get all kind of political things sitting in the home so Mass media is also play a very important role in the political socialization. CONCLUSION. The political socialization is very important for every human being because political socialization is establishment and development of attitudes to beliefs about the political system. If people are not properly socialized then they could not able to show interest in the political system example, few African tribal’s they are not showing any interest in the political system because they are not socialized because they are far away mass media, education and family etc. so, Political socialization is very important like, . If we want to know the political culture of any country then we have to know the political socialization of that country without political socialization we can not talk about political culture so, political socialization is play a very important role in the political system.
