The greenhouse effect occurs when gases like carbon dioxide and methane trap heat in the atmosphere, warming the planet. According to scientific consensus, human economic activity is enhancing the greenhouse effect and causing climate change by emitting more of these gases. The impacts of climate change include higher average global temperatures, more extreme weather like droughts and hurricanes, rising sea levels from melting ice caps, and disruptions to ecosystems.

Greenhouse The greenhouse effect is the phenomenon whereby certain gases, which are components of a planetary atmosphere, they retain some of the energy emitted by the soil have been heated by solar radiation. It affects all planetary bodies endowed with atmosphere. According to current scientific consensus, the greenhouse effect is being increased in the earth by the emission of certain gases such as carbon dioxide and methane due to human economic activity.
