Purposes
The purpose is that Mile fans can see her as who
she is instead of a character in Hanna Montana. It is
about how Miley feels when she arrives at
Hollywood.
The music video part of a marketing campaign so it
sells the song, it is also for the TV so people can
watch it instead of just listening so it engages a
wider audience.
The music video boosts the sales of the song
because it makes it more interesting.

The audience is teenage girls, who are Miley
fans. The social grade is category E. It is aimed at
young people who have disposable incomes and
have spare money to buy the song. It is aimed at
teenage girls aged 11 to 15/16 to show that she
is a real person, instead of a character.

• The opening scene is set in a dusty big car park
witch is full of people,
• The lighting shows it is daytime in the car park
and throughout it is to make it look hot, except at
the park where it is dark,
• The camera techniques that they use are, tracks,
close-up and crane.
• The editing is a big part because it has lots of
camera angles and different shots.
• There are no transitions between shots.

• Their were a few old type of typical American cars,
• The lighting shows it is daytime in the car park and
throughout it is to make it look hot, except at the park
where it is dark,
• The actors all have short, tight cloths on to show it is
hot and make them look clean sexy,

• Huge American flag
• They did’t use any CGI

• The meaning is about a girl who is nervous
about going to the USA,
• The themes are fame, nerves and popular.
• The meaning of this music video is that you
should be confident and don’t be scared of
doing something new.

Form
The form of the music video is 3.50 minuets long
and that is the whole thing. The video
theoretically could be longer but people will
loose interest after about three minuets anyway
that’s why it is only 3 minuets long.
