Take a step toward a future where your contributions and potential will be recognized by your employer.Current opportunities include an Experienced Project Manager to support the migration of an existing production system from one organization to another within a F500 firm.  As a Project Manager, you will develop and manage information technology (IT) project plans, schedules, and deliverables.  A critical component of your previous work experience will be demonstrated success identifying and negotiating to secure resources necessary to meet project goals.  You will leverage such experience along with your ability to develop and execute project communication plans as well as mitigation plans for project Issues, Risks, and Help Needed.Your communication and leadership skills are key determinants for a project's success.  The Project Manager will prioritize and coordinate the activities of the project team in conjunction with the Program Management Office (PMO) and the integrated schedule and metrics.  Your responsibilities will include assuring that project deliverables are properly documented as well as coordinating and overseeing supplier activities.  The successful Project Manager's communication to the team and management will facilitate decision making and corrective action and provide on-going, project status.  The successful candidate will facilitate and coordinate actions and requirements between technical teams and IT management throughout the end-to-end lifecycle of an application, following waterfall and agile methodologies. Ideal experience will include previous employment with a global consulting firm (Big4) or demonstrated experience leading multifunctional and multicultural project teams within a complex business environment. <br />Opportunity: IT Project Manager with focus on software development and the application of Program Management Best Practices.  The successful candidate will have a strategic view of the business and will be able to work closely between business and IT management. <br /> <br />Required Skills:<br />Skilled at leading cross-functional teams with matrixed resources from both the client and disparate contracting companies. <br />Creates Program communication plans, develops program battle rhythm/standard meeting plan, and enables communication across the Program and within the various levels of management chain. <br />Creates an Integrated Schedule to manage tasks and resources; creates a project baseline of cost, scope and schedule and manages to that baseline (baseline management).  Ability to work with multiple views of schedules (Gantt Charts, Resource Loading, etc.)  Sr. Project Manager – schedule should be Enterprise-wide or Program-wide, involving multiple project teams.<br />Implements and uses Earned Value Measurements (EVM) to track project success/health <br />Specifically tracking CPI & SPI (Cost Performance Index, Schedule Performance Index)
Ability to perform variance analysis on EVM deviations Defines and uses Key Performance Indicators (KPI)to provide project metrics and trend analysis<br />Develops and updates project scorecards<br />Gathers critical data and information and presents concisely to all levels of management <br />Performs Risk Management/Risk Analysis by identifying risks, issues and opportunities (RIO) and creating mitigation plans as required to ensure the health of the project.<br /> <br />
