FROM THE MIXED UP
FILES OF MRS.BASIL E.
    FRANKWEILER
  By Nathan, Ron, Billy,
       Kaitlyn M.
Beginning

Claudia is planning to run away
from her normal life and is going
to take Jamie with her. They
 chose that Jamie would be
there treasurer( He had all the
 money) and that they would
walk all the way to the museum
where they would live for a
 while.
Middle

• When they arrive at the
  museum, they immediately find
a place to live. In the morning,
  they found a statue called
  “Angel”. Claudia wants to find
the owner. They find a clue and
send it to the museum. They
  report that they already found
  it.
End
• They think Angel belongs to
Mr.Frankweiler. They find Mrs. F. She
said if they want to find the truth,
they would have to find the truth in
the mixed up files with 20 minutes to
spare. They found the file and on the
  way home Mrs.Frankweiler put the
file in her will to the children. Also,
  Jamie and Claudia accept
  Mrs.Frankweiler as their
  grandmother.
Summery
• Claudia knew that she could never pull off the old-
fashion kind of running away. That is, running away
in the heat of anger with a knapsack on her back.
She didn’t like discomfort; even picnics were untidy
and inconvenient: all those insect and sun melting
the icing on the cupcakes. Therefore, she decided
that her leaving home would not be just running
from somewhere, but would be running to
somewhere. To a large place, a comfortable place,
an indoor place and preferable a beautiful place.
And that’s why she decided upon the Metropolitan
Museum of Art in New York City.
