 The process of working through details of a problem to reach a solution. Problem
solving may include mathematical or systematic operations and can be gauge of an
individual’s critical thinking skills.
 Problem solving consists of using generic or ad hoc methods , in an orderly manner
, for finding solutions to problems.
 Best practices are “those practices that have been shown to produce superior
results; selected by a systematic process; and judged as exemplary, good or
successfully demonstrated ” .
 A best practice is a technique or methodology that, through experience and
research, has been proven to reliably lead to a desired result.
 Best practice is a set of guidelines, ethics or ideas that represent the most efficient
or prudent course of action.
 Best practice serve as a general outline for a variety of situations.
 Reducing energy use and waste improves a company’s bottom line, and
increasing the use of recycled materials is a proven way to demonstrate
good corporate citizenship to your customers, employees, and the
communities you do business in.
 Microsoft has followed the practices below:-
1. Provide incentives that supports your primary goals:

5. Take advantage of competitive bids from multiple manufacturers to

services is taking significant steps in 4 areas important to environmental
sustainability
1. Using recycled resources whenever practical
2. Using renewable resources whenever available
3. Reducing waste in operations
4. Taking part in industry environmental groups
 The Microsoft’s innovation management framework includes best practice
processes and solutions that offers strategies road map. This processes are used
within Microsoft enabling teams to quickly implement innovation program that are
fit for purpose.
 According to them, company’s core innovation components should address not
just enabling technology but processes and culture too.
 Microsoft’s innovation management framework is designed to help companies
develop a comprehensive, integrated approach to implement and support an
innovation management strategy. This framework is a repeatable reference
architecture for innovation and is intended to allow companies to share and learn
about innovation management best practices and enabling technologies as a

 Microsoft company has a suggestion box for employee to a proactive approach
that effectively produces targeted ideas. They planned number of levels improve

resolved.

• RECRUITMENT IN THE DIGITAL AGE OFTEN HAS MORE IN COMMON
WITH MARKETING BEST PRACTICE RATHER THAN RECRUITING.
• MICROSOFT IS ONE OF THE BIGGEST GLOBAL PLAYERS IN THE
TECHNICAL SECTOR WHICH IS HARNESSING THE POWER OF SOCIAL
MEDIA FOR ATTRACTING PEOPLE FOR JOB OPPORTUNITIES.
• FOR EXAMPLE, MICROSOFT HAS A LINKEDIN PAGE IS THAT IT IS

This is an incredibly clever move by the company for two reasons. Firstly, it
captures a much larger audience. Furthermore, it stimulates a more passive
interest in what opportunities are available, even if members have no intention
of changing role.
• Other examples of social media recruitment include, their pages on
Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
SOLVE PROBLEMS IN OTHER COMPANY
 Well now we have seen good in our dream company and now its time to apply
these to solve problems in other company.
 Team work is something we barely get to see in companies. Everyone has their
own dreams and they aspire to succeed in life by pulling others down. Hence it
very important that the company checks this competition among their
employees. By doing so, the employees start thinking for the good of their
company instead of their own interests.
 Many manufacturing plants of companies are shut down if they cause a lot of
harm to the environment. That’s why every company should take up plantation
and many other drives in order make up for the pollution they cause.
 Thus if all these best practices of our dream company that we have discussed
so far are introduced in other companies, I am sure they also achieve those
great heights!
LESSON LEARNT

THINGS. BUT THESE CHALLENGES GIVES YOU A PLATFORM TO FACE
DIFFERENT SOCIAL PROBLEMS AND DEAL THEM IN THE BEST POSSIBLE

THIS PROJECT HAS TAUGHT US TEAM WORK. IT HAS MADE US STRONG
ENOUGH TO FACE PROBLEMS AND QUESTION PEOPLE ABOUT THEIR
WRONG PRACTICES.
WE HAVE LEARNED HOW TO MAKE OUR FUTURE COMPANY A BETTER
PLACE FROM THE GOOD PRACTICES WE SEE IN THIS HUGE
