Question.1. What is meant by ‘organizing’? Explain the need for
organizing. Discuss the role ofTop Management in Organizing for
Quality Management.
Answer:Organising is a step-by-step process. At each step, an important task is performed by the
administrators working at the top-level of management.
While organising, the top managers carry out following important tasks:-
In thisgeneral eight-steppedprocess,the topmanagementfirstfixes the common objectives of the
organisation.
In the second step, they (top management) identify all the activities (i.e. works or jobs) which are
required to achieve these predefined objectives.
In the third step, they group similar (related) activities and make their individual departments.

managers).
Question.2 Define the term ‘Leadership’. Describe the major
leadership theories.
